What is founding member pricing? ▾
Every braider who signs up during beta gets founding member status. Your rate ($25/$45/$65/mo) is locked forever — no matter how high regular prices go. The real value kicks in over time. New members after launch pay full price ($35/$55/$80). You don't.
What happens if I cancel? ▾
If you cancel, your founding member rate is gone permanently. When you sign back up, you'll pay full current price — no exceptions. This is intentional: early supporters get a permanent reward for staying. Think of the locked rate as your retention benefit.
What happens after my 30-day trial? ▾
After 30 days, your account pauses (read-only mode — all your data is preserved). Pick a founding member plan to reactivate at your locked rate. If you wait until after launch, you'll pay regular pricing instead.
Do I need my own Stripe account? ▾
No. BraidBoss AI handles all payment processing. Your clients pay through our secure Stripe integration — deposits go to the platform and are tracked in your dashboard. No Stripe account setup required on your end.
What is Marcus AI? ▾
Marcus is BraidBoss AI's built-in personality engine. He shows up in your dashboard with motivation, business insights, and real talk — celebrating when you get paid, flagging no-show patterns, keeping your business moving. Available on Pro and Premium plans. He needs your own OpenAI API key (set in Settings).
What happens to my client data if I cancel? ▾
Your client data, proposal history, and photos are retained for 90 days after cancellation. You can export or download before your account is closed.
